Gimpville for STC Formula 1 Ad
From cinematic VFX to cultural storytelling, Gimpville is where artistry meets innovation – a Nordic studio shaping global imagination.
For more than two decades, Gimpville has shaped cinematic worlds from its home in Oslo — crafting visual effects that blur the line between imagination and reality.
Our team of artists, technologists, and storytellers brings precision and play into every frame — from large-scale creature work and complex simulations to the smallest, most human details.
We believe the best VFX doesn’t just decorate a story — it deepens it. That philosophy has guided our work across feature films, series, and global campaigns, and it’s what continues to attract collaborators who care about craft.
At Gimpville, excellence is shared. We credit every artist, celebrate every experiment, and learn as a collective. It’s a culture built on mastery, curiosity, and trust — where belonging fuels performance, and creativity thrives in the open.
For clients, that means cinematic freedom and uncompromising quality.
For artists, it means a studio where the work is world-class — and the people are, too.
In our commitment to global excellence, Gimpville merged with South Korea's esteemed M83, enhancing our capabilities and extending our reach into the Asian market. This alliance combines Scandinavian innovation with Korean technological expertise, enriching our creative endeavors.
Our team orchestrated the detailed destruction of Oslo, delivering 200 VFX shots that captivated audiences and showcased our technical skills.
