The dramatic tension of La Palma hinges entirely on the threat of a mega-tsunami. For the audience to feel the fear and chaos, the visual effects could not fail. Our core challenge was to create massiv towering wall of water—and integrate it seamlessly into the live-action plates of the Canary Islands. We custom-built a solution to handle these enormous water simulations in 'slices,' ensuring photorealism at great scale delivering world-class disaster VFX for this high-stakes Scandinavian drama.
